The First Pour: A Mini Tea Party With a Mighty Purpose

The First Pour is the inaugural Mini Tea Party hosted by She Dreams In Color Foundation Interim Executive Director Dr. Gia Paige. This meaningful gathering will bring women together around connection, generosity, and the shared belief that every woman deserves access to support for her mental health and well-being.

About She Dreams In Color Foundation

She Dreams In Color Foundation works to reduce stigma around mental health and help-seeking, address isolation and loneliness, and expand access to mental health support and therapy for women in Charlotte.

Every conversation, connection, contribution, and table helps us move this work forward.

But The First Pour is about more than one gathering.

Our goal is for each Mini Tea Party to raise at least $800 to support this work—and for The First Pour to inspire women across Charlotte to open their own tables. From this first gathering, we hope to see 49 additional Mini Tea Parties scheduled throughout Charlotte, creating a network of 50 gatherings led by women who believe in pouring into other women.

Imagine the impact: women gathering in homes, businesses, community spaces, and neighborhoods across our city—sharing stories, building meaningful connections, raising funds, and inviting even more women into the movement.

Give. Gather. Multiply.

There are several ways to pour into this work.

Give. Help us reach our $800 fundraising goal and expand our efforts to support women's mental health.

Gather. Consider hosting a Mini Tea Party of your own.

Multiply. Invite another woman, organization, business, or community to join the movement.

You do not need to be a professional event planner or host an elaborate affair to become a hostess. A Mini Tea Party can happen in your home, workplace, community space, or another setting that feels right to you.

You bring the women. We will help you create the experience.

Our goal is to leave The First Pour with women ready to help us schedule the next 49 tables across Charlotte.

One table becomes 50. One gathering becomes a wave. One woman’s decision to give and gather can help another woman access the support she needs.

The First Pour is where that wave begins!
