This dinner is a part of the Juarez Build Auction. Every item in this auction was donated by someone in our community — a bottle of wine saved for a special occasion, a framed print from a parishioner's own hand, an evening out, a work of art with a story behind it. This special dinner is hosted by our very own Rector, Father Robin Dodge, and his wife, Thérèse in their lovely home. All of these proceeds goes towards building a home for a family who has none.

Volunteers from our parish will travel to the colonias on the edge of Juárez, where families live on dirt roads in houses fenced with sticks and chicken wire. Working side by side with a local building team, they will raise a small house from the ground up in just four days. On the afternoon of the second day, they hand the keys to a family — a father, a mother, their children — who will sleep that night in a home of their own for the first time.

That is what your bid builds. Not an idea, but a house. Not someday, but this year.
