The Freedom Project — Volume 1 of our F.U.N. Trilogy (Freedom, Unity, Nirvana) — is out now, bringing together 40+ artists from over 20 countries across six continents, including hip hop legend Kwamé, global hip hop ambassador Toni Blackman, and Dumi Right.

But this project is bigger than the music. Every dollar raised funds hands-on hip hop workshops for youth — dance workshops in Rio de Janeiro, and a new partnership with the Invisible Kid Project bringing workshops to youth in Goma, DR Congo.

In communities like Rio de Janeiro and Goma, DR Congo, young people often face daily exposure to violence and instability. Positive outlets — spaces where kids can create, move, and be heard — aren't extras. They're lifelines. Hip hop gives young people a way to process what they're living through and imagine something different for themselves. That's what these workshops do.

Your support sustains our existing Hip Hop Loves youth workshops in Rio de Janeiro, and helps us launch a new partnership with Casa da Tia Ciata in Gamboa — a cultural home honoring Tia Ciata, the legendary Afro-Brazilian matriarch remembered as the birthplace of samba. Through this collaboration, funds go directly toward bringing hip hop programming to youth at the space, set to begin October 2026 — carrying that same spirit of culture, community, and freedom of expression forward into hip hop for a new generation.
