Every guinea pig deserves a lifetime of love, comfort, and compassionate care — especially those entering their golden years.

As guinea pigs age, their medical needs often increase. Dental problems, ovarian cysts, tumors, arthritis, mobility issues, and other age-related conditions can require veterinary visits, medications, special feeding, and ongoing supportive care.

At Second Chance Cavy Rescue we are committed to making aging guinea pigs years as comfortable, happy, and healthy as possible. Help us provide the needed care to these precious companions.

Our Most Recent Seniors Cases

Two of our older piggies Olive and Luna recently had their veterinary checkups. Olive (5 yrs) has an ovarian cyst that will be monitored, Luna's (8 yrs) ultrasound revealed a large abdominal mass and she'll have surgery to remove it.

Her care is a reminder of just how quickly unexpected medical expenses can arise when caring for senior guinea pigs.

Every Donation Makes a Difference!

Whether you can donate $5, $25, $50, or more, every contribution helps us provide the medical care and comfort our seniors deserve.

Your generosity means that when a senior guinea pig needs help, we can focus on what matters most — getting them the care they need, without having to worry about how we will pay the bill.
