To perpetually support the City of Frisco, Texas, its citizens, and its pets by providing animal education, supporting low-cost veterinarian options, and helping to reduce the homeless pet population.

🍀 How It Works

Step 1 — Donate/Submit Entries: Make a voluntary charitable donation to Frisco Pet Partners in any amount between March 12–16, 2025.

Step 2 — Get Entries: Receive complimentary drawing entries based on your donation level (see entry levels below).

Step 3 — We Draw: On St. Patrick's Day — March 17, 2025 — one winner is chosen at random from all eligible entries.

Step 4 — You Win! The Lucky One receives a Gift Card equal to exactly 50% of all donations raised. The more we raise together, the bigger the prize!

This campaign is conducted as a charitable drawing — not a traditional paid raffle — in compliance with the Texas Charitable Raffle Enabling Act (CREA), Tex. Occ. Code Ch. 2002. Donations are voluntary charitable contributions. Complimentary entries are provided in connection with donations. No purchase is necessary to enter. The prize is a Gift Card. Frisco Pet Partners is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has operated in Texas for more than three years.

2. Campaign Period

Opens: March 7, 2025 · Entries & donations close: March 16, 2025 · Drawing & winner announced: March 17, 2025 (St. Patrick's Day 🍀)

3. Eligibility

Open to individuals 18 years of age or older located in the Frisco, TX and North Texas community. Not eligible: employees, board members, officers, and volunteers of Frisco Pet Partners and their immediate family or household members. Void where prohibited by law.

4. How to Enter — No Purchase Necessary

Method 1 — Donation: Make a voluntary charitable donation via this GiveButter page. Complimentary entries will be assigned per the entry level table above.

Method 2 — Free Mail-In Entry: To enter without donating, hand-write your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email on a 3″ × 5″ card and mail to: Frisco Pet Partners — "The Lucky One" Drawing, Frisco, TX. Must be received by March 16, 2025. One mail-in entry per person. Receives 1 complimentary entry.

5. The Prize

One (1) winner receives a Gift Card equal to 50% of total donations raised. Gift Card issued within 5 business days of drawing. Prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes. Prize value will not exceed $75,000.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

Winner selected by random drawing on March 17, 2025. Winner notified by email/phone and announced on Frisco Pet Partners' social media. Winner must respond within 5 business days to claim prize or an alternate winner may be selected. Winner may be required to sign an eligibility affidavit.

7. Texas Law & CREA Compliance

This campaign is structured as a charitable drawing in compliance with the Texas Charitable Raffle Enabling Act (CREA), Tex. Occ. Code Ch. 2002. Key compliance points:

✅ Frisco Pet Partners is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit in operation in Texas for more than 3 years (§2002.002)

✅ Prize is a Gift Card, not cash or a negotiable instrument (§2002.053)

✅ Prize value will not exceed $75,000 (§2002.053)

✅ Online giving is structured as voluntary donations + complimentary entries, not ticket sales (§2002.054)

✅ No purchase necessary — free mail-in entry available (sweepstakes compliance)

✅ No paid advertising used; promotion limited to org website and existing supporter communications (§2002.054)

✅ Prize in possession or bond posted before March 17 drawing (§2002.053)

✅ All proceeds after prize go exclusively to Frisco Pet Partners' charitable mission

If drawing cannot occur March 17, a new date will be set within 30 days (no later than April 16, 2025). If prize cannot be awarded within that window, all donations will be refunded in full per CREA §2002.056.

8. Use of Proceeds

50% of all donations go to the winner as a Gift Card. The remaining 50% goes directly to Frisco Pet Partners to perpetually support the City of Frisco, its citizens, and its pets through animal education, low-cost veterinarian resources, and reducing the homeless pet population.

9. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree that Frisco Pet Partners and its officers, directors, volunteers, and employees are not liable for technical errors, lost entries, injury from participation, prize defects, or taxes owed by winner. All decisions by Frisco Pet Partners are final and binding.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected is used solely to administer this campaign, contact the winner, and issue the prize. Frisco Pet Partners will not sell personal information. By participating, entrants consent to receive campaign-related communications from Frisco Pet Partners.

11. General

This campaign is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes resolved in Collin County, Texas. These rules constitute the complete official rules for "The Lucky One" 50/50 Charitable Drawing. Frisco Pet Partners reserves the right to cancel or modify this campaign if fraud or technical failure impairs its integrity, subject to applicable law. These rules are in addition to GiveButter's Terms of Service.
