In 2024, Drs. Ced & LaChish McMillan envisioned the McMillan Family Foundation as a way of giving back to other business owners and those struggling to gain financial freedom. Viewing their philanthropic work as an “investment”, Ced & LaChish developed a mission that focused on three key areas: financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and health.

Having grown up in the inner city’s of Prichard, AL and Philadelphia, PA, Ced and LaChish believes that everyone deserves a fair chance to succeed; and that successful lives are built on financial literacy and healthy lifestyles. The result is the Foundation’s mission: “to promote healthy families and communities by empowering people across the socioeconomic spectrum with education and resources to increase financial literacy, encourage entrepreneurship, and improve health & fitness by advocating for equitable access and financial inclusion.”

Ced's strong background in business; LaChish's military and medical career; and their shared love of financial freedom and building generational wealth is the driving force for programs and initiatives of the McMillan Family Foundation.

Launching the Foundation, is Ced and LaChish’s desire to provide education and resources to those seeking to transform their lives for the better, while also leaving a legacy of service for their family-especially their children.
