The Milk District's 5th Annual DESIGN CHARRETTE: AUGUST 27 - SEPTEMBER 1, 2026

Join The Milk District Design Committee and YAF for our annual Design Charrette — a fast-paced, collaborative event focused on creative placemaking in one of Orlando’s most iconic neighborhoods.

We’ll kick things off Thursday evening with an overview of this year’s design challenges and team assignments. Then, from Friday through Monday, multidisciplinary teams will work together on their own schedules to explore bold, imaginative solutions to real-world design prompts.

The charrette wraps up Tuesday evening with team presentations to community members, local stakeholders, and city leaders.

Participants will include architects, planners, designers, landscape architects, artists, students, residents, and creative thinkers of all kinds — all working together to envision what’s next for The Milk District.

Friday 8/28 through Monday 8/31: Group Work - Locations Determined by Groups
