The Muses, 32 AD, Sacred Sisterhood

In the first century AD, a once thriving Celtic civilization is on its heels.

Romans now mount their horses traversing a cis-alpine threshold, once thought to be impenetrable.

The world of the Celts is coming undone.

And, in this moment, Nine Bandrui Muses - High Priestess Druids - responsible for the safety of their people - reunite to guide their people forward. As they do, they receive an inconvenient prophecy.

One that will guide them into exile, unfathomable loss, and unexpected evolution.

This is The Muses.

Across multiple timelines, this winding odyssey offers new perspective on our current moment in history, and a glimpse into the courage and capacity inherent in all of us to resolve this Roman Conflict -- still alive within all of us, 2000 years later -- to bring ourselves back home.

Today, the story lives in a mixed media format -- long form bardic, spoken word poems -- historical pros -- and haunting original songs.

To share it, Cat Lindroth and Cortney Jacobsen will birth this story on the lands from which it was born. From July 14th through August 20th, we will make a pilgrimage by bicycle from Croatia to the Swiss Alps -- returning to the Holy Land of the Celts, the great alpine spine of this earth, tracing the terrain the Muses themselves once crossed. We will share this story as it unfolds -- through social media, YouTube, Spotify, and readings in bookstores bespeckled throughout our alpine quest.

Our belief is that this story will penetrate hearts -- and offer hope -- as it has done to our own.

To give it its best chance to find the audience seeking it right now, we need your help. We are seeking $7,000 to support us on the early stages of our journey -- this will include help with brand development, marketing, film editing for social media content - and eventually - a professional trailer. Ultimately, your support will help us produce the first 14 stories in mixed media during our 1000 km bike journey.
