The Pearl is entering an important new chapter.

What began with a vision to bring innovative, trauma-informed care into mainstream practice has grown into a community of patients, clinicians, researchers, educators, veterans, partners, and supporters who believe that healing should be both innovative and accessible.

As we look toward 2027, we are ready to expand that vision.

The Pearl 2027: Expanding Access, Healing & Hope is a $250,000 campaign to help The Pearl grow our capacity across Western North Carolina, including opening our new Asheville location, expanding access to treatment, advancing research, training clinicians, strengthening community partnerships, and building the infrastructure needed for sustainable growth.

Your gift can have twice the impact.

Thanks to a generous $60,000 challenge gift, donations to The Pearl 2027 campaign will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $60,000.

A $50 gift becomes $100.
A $250 gift becomes $500.
A $1,000 gift helps create $2,000 in impact.

A new home in Asheville

Our new Asheville location will be an important part of that future.

Located near the Asheville VA and the communities we serve, this new home will allow The Pearl to expand our capacity for care while creating space for treatment, research, training, integration, education, and community connection.

But this campaign is about much more than a building.

It is about making sure a veteran seeking relief can access care.

It is about creating new pathways for people living with trauma who have exhausted traditional options.

It is about advancing responsible research into emerging treatments and helping move promising approaches from research into thoughtful, evidence-informed clinical practice.

It is about preparing clinicians to provide this care safely, ethically, and compassionately.

And it is about ensuring that people in rural and underserved communities are not left behind as the field of mental health care continues to evolve.
