The Heart Leaf Center was founded with two primary goals - to provide low-cost high quality play therapy training to children and families in Northern Virginia and to provide low-cost, high quality training to play therapists. The Playful Heart Conference not only supports this mission but also provides a way for the play therapy community to support the work the Heart Leaf Center is doing for children for whom financial barriers make accessing play therapy difficult.
