Most people see a zero as nothing. We see a circle. No beginning. No end.

This is Florida Grand Opera's 85th season. Our first curtain rose on February 14, 1942, in a high school auditorium, and it has not stopped rising since. The Power of Zero is how we carry it forward: $8.50 a month, $85, $850, $8,500, $85,000. The same digits, one zero at a time.

Our goal this season is $8.5 million. Five zeros. Every gift moves us closer. Five zeros, and five places they go to work: Education & Access, Artist Development, Community Engagement, Wellness & Resilience, and Artistic Innovation & Legacy. Each one is ours to add, together.

Zero is power. Your gift puts FGO singers in classrooms and neighborhoods. Over the past three years, they have reached more than 50,000 children.

Zero is possibility. Your gift trains the Studio artists who become tomorrow's principal singers.

Zero is more. Your gift brings free SongFest concerts to our neighbors, and Voices of Wellness performances to veterans, military, nurses, and first responders.

Each zero is a place where giving goes to work: Education & Access, Artist Development, Community Engagement, Wellness & Resilience, and Artistic Innovation & Legacy. And each one is ours to add, together.

Our Board went first. Board members have committed more than $400,000 in matching gifts this season. In round one, every gift is doubled, up to $85,000, through November 1. Two zeros. Infinite possibility.

Join The Circle.

The simplest way to begin is the smallest circle: $8.50 a month, about 28 cents a day. For our first 500 members, our Board matches your entire first year, so your $8.50 a month becomes $204 for students, young artists and the people who serve our community. Our goal is 850 members by February 14.

How many zeros can you add?

The Circle, $8.50 a month. Overture, $85. Encore, $850, which brings a classroom opera experience to an entire school cohort. Bravo, $8,500. Maestro, $85,000. Standing Ovation, $850,000.

What your zero makes possible.

Last season, Florida Grand Opera reached more than 15,000 students, presented 113+ events across South Florida, welcomed 2,265 neighbors to free SongFest concerts and gave 750+ Hero Tickets to veterans, nurses and first responders. Every gift supports all five of our pillars: Artist Development, Artistic Innovation & Legacy, Education & Access, Community Engagement, and Wellness & Resilience.

Become a Founding Donor. Give by Sunday, October 25, and your name joins the honor roll of people who went first in our 85th season.

Five zeros, and five programs where they go to work. Each one is ours to add, together.

More ways to add a zero. Your employer may add another zero through its matching gift program. You can also give from a donor-advised fund, give stock, or, if you are 70 and a half or older, give directly from your IRA.
