Manhattan Theatre Source was founded in 2000 - 26 years and many creative teams later, we are still producing new work by playwrights, offering a platform for artists and support for performance creation. In our evolution we brought EstroGenius, the Source's flagship festival forward, and in 2026, have re-named the festival CollectiveGenius, as we bring the artists on the edges to the center spotlight.

Our 2026 fundraising goal is $8,600! By our calculations, we can make our goal by the end of the festival if we LAUNCH our opening weekend with 26 donations of $260!

Of course, we'll accept gifts of any amount, with special glee for donations with a 2 and a 6... $26, $126, $260, $626, $2600, $6,626!

Achieving our goal sustains the festival for 2026, which leads us all DIRECTLY to MORE theatre, dance, invention, creativity, spontaneity... Continuing the forward momentum of this platform that has given so many artists space to experiment and create their voice.

Join us here, on the first floor of the next 26, as we step proudly into the future of the Source.
