Starting in 1984, Broken Shackle Ranch offers a range of programs designed to empower our youth with essential academic and life skills. Our in-house GED curriculum is tailored to meet the individual learning needs of young men who have struggled in traditional education settings, helping them achieve academic success and build confidence.

In addition to education, we provide vocational training in high-demand trades such as welding, construction, automotive maintenance, and heavy equipment operator. These programs are certified by the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER), ensuring our participants gain industry-recognized credentials that enhance their career readiness and employability. Broken Shackle Ranch Inc. is the only residential program of it's kind in the state of Georgia.

Our life skills programs focus on financial literacy, teaching participants how to manage budgets, save for the future, and build a foundation for financial independence. We also emphasize teamwork, personal responsibility, and resilience through mentorship, counseling, and team building activities.

These programs are designed to address barriers to success, equipping our youth with the skills, resources, and confidence needed to transition into stable and self-sufficient adulthood.
