Plant Once. Belong for Years.

In April 2026, we planted 154 olive trees at our farm in Ojai, California. The grove is a working landscape and shared commons, designed to produce olive oil of the highest grade while providing habitat, shade, and a gathering place for the community.

Olive oil from this grove will be supplied to schools and community kitchens at below-market pricing, keeping exceptional food grown close to home and access to everyone.

Your adoption helps Farmhand Foundation care for the grove, regenerate the soil beneath it, strengthen biodiversity across the farm, and demonstrate what a resilient, community-centered agricultural system can look like in the Ojai Valley.

Our hope is that this adoption program becomes something similar: not simply a fundraiser, but a community of people connected to a place, returning year after year to watch these trees grow, gather around the harvest, and help build something that will outlast all of us.

Your annual adoption includes:

Your Tree
A specific olive tree in the grove to call your own, with recognition via a custom signage at the tree, as its adopter.

First Access to Oil
Each harvest year, adopters receive a bottle of limited-production Farmhand Foundation olive oil from the grove as available, connecting your support directly back to the land. As the grove matures and our harvest grows, adopters will always be at the front of the line.

In addition to the bottle included with annual membership, adopters will receive priority access and preferred pricing on additional bottles from each year's harvest.

Some years will be abundant. Others may be lean. That's farming.

An Annual Grove Gathering
An invitation for you and a guest to join us at least one gathering, harvest celebration, tasting, or farm experience per year.

Seasonal stories and photographs showing how your tree, the grove, and the surrounding ecosystem are changing throughout the year.

Harvest Access
Priority invitations to participate in olive harvest days and other hands-on moments in the grove.

Your initial adoption remains at our existing adoption level and helps establish your tree, care for the grove, restore the soil beneath it, and support Farmhand Foundation's work to build a more resilient regional food system.

Beginning one year after your initial adoption, you'll have the opportunity to renew your tree for $150 annually.

Your annual membership helps provide the ongoing care that a thriving grove requires, from irrigation and pruning to soil health, biodiversity, harvest, milling, and the hands that make it all possible.
