Jewish teen philanthropy is a powerful way for teens to take meaningful action to change the world by giving. Guided by Jewish values, teens engage in Jewish philanthropy as a way to support local and global needs by making informed and strategic decisions about the issues that impact world. Through this experience teens not only make a difference to the causes they fund, they also learn essential leadership skills, explore values that drive them to be active participants in society, and make commitments to future action in their local communities and beyond.
What is the Jewish Teen Funders Network Giving Hive?
The Jewish Teen Funders Network (JTFN) has created a hub where Jewish teen philanthropy programs of all shapes and sizes can gain access under one umbrella to an online crowdfunding platform. As the central resource for Jewish teen philanthropy, we created this experience in order to provide a place for our network to easily develop campaigns that would meet their fundraising needs. While there is no financial incentive for JTFN (we do not receive any funds from Givebutter for this program), it is our goal to be able to support the wider field of Jewish teen philanthropy by understanding trends and participation in online crowdfunding philanthropy and to be able to share our findings with you. By joining the JTFN Giving Hub, not only will you be able to conduct your online fundraising campaigns, you will also be demonstrating your support of this wider movement in youth giving. With your help, JTFN can continue to research and understand youth giving that is happening around the globe!
