At Hope of Mooresville, that light represents safety for a mother facing crisis, a warm bed for a child who doesn’t know where they’ll sleep, and hope for families working toward a fresh start.

The Light Is Always On is more than a fundraiser, it is the story of a community that refuses to let families face homelessness alone. Day after day, year after year, HOMe opens its doors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to provide shelter, support, resources, and encouragement to neighbors in need.

Families arrive carrying fear, uncertainty, and often nothing at all. Through compassionate care, case management, community partnerships, and the support of people like you, they leave with stability, confidence, and a place to call home.

This event celebrates every life changed, every child given safety, and every act of kindness that keeps the light shining for families across Iredell County.
