Our Story

Linden Tree Montessori School began with a simple but powerful question:
What if every child — regardless of income or zip code — had access to high-quality Montessori education?

We’ve seen how Montessori classrooms can transform lives. When children are trusted as curious, capable learners, they don’t just grow academically — they flourish socially and emotionally. Montessori education helps children build confidence, empathy and a lifelong love of learning.

Our name carries deep meaning. The linden tree is a symbol of community, healing and renewal — the same qualities we see growing right here in Columbus’s Linden neighborhood. As the neighborhood blooms through the OneLinden Revitalization Project, our school stands as a living part of that renewal, offering a strong educational foundation to the families who call Linden home.

Where We Are Now

After months of planning, community collaboration and dreaming big, we’ve identified a school building in Linden that’s ready to become our home. But before we can open, we must raise the upfront costs to secure and prepare the space.

While public funding and grants will sustain us once students are enrolled, these early expenses — the ones that turn a building into a school — must be raised in advance.
