The COVID-19 pandemic has brought the local economy to a near standstill. Revenue from advertising has gone with it. It presents a new set of financial challenges to local, family-owned newspapers like The Times. Funding that hasn’t been lost to giant corporations like Facebook and Google has been largely lost to the pandemic.

We at The Times are fighting for our own survival, while at the same time making important local news and information on a public health crisis open for you to read.
