To honor his final wish of filming his death, his doctor, Aditi Sethi, transports him to a quiet house in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Founder of Reclaiming Wisdom and Educator on Tantra, Death, and Community

Lee Warren has been fortunate to learn from the dying in the context of a village. Over the course of two years, from 2016 to 2018, there were six deaths at Earthaven Ecovillage, the place she’s called home for more than two decades.

Those deaths, and the generous people who experienced them, were incredible opportunities for service to the great mystery.

These end-of-life ceremonies and rituals weave together the fabric of community. Likewise, Lee has woven end-of-life education into her community building work as foundation to becoming alive, present, and embodied humans.

Kitty is an artist and ritualist with a focus on ritual tattoo, rite of passage, and ancestral connection. With a history in nonprofit management and creating community and connection for Asheville artists, she is a community organizer, change-maker, and paradigm shifter. Kitty is known for her service on planning committees, leading workshops, and engaging audiences in radio and podcast hosting. She is an arts activist and executive director of the Asheville nonprofit Arts 2 People.
