Sweet Butter Biscuits came to Twin Cities Pet Rescue after being picked up as a stray and brought to local animal control. Shortly after settling into her foster home, her foster noticed she had a significant limp.

During her intake exam, our veterinary team discovered that Butter Biscuits had a fractured back leg. 💔

X-rays revealed that the fracture wasn’t new. In fact, this sweet girl had likely been living with a broken leg for several weeks. 😢

Unfortunately, due to how the bone broke and how much time had passed without treatment, our veterinary team determined that amputation is the safest option and the quickest way to get Butter Biscuits out of pain.

We don’t know what happened to Butter Biscuits before she came to us, but we do know that she deserves a future free from pain and full of love. ❤️

🐾 Can you help us raise $500 toward Butter Biscuits’ surgery and veterinary care?

Whether you can give $5, $10, $25, or simply share her story, every little bit helps us get this sweet girl one step closer to feeling better.

Butter Biscuits has already been through so much. Let’s give her the fresh start she deserves! 🧈❤️
