Inspired by the provocative exhibitions Shout and Cry, this panel brings together a range of voices to discuss what truth and creativity mean in journalism. How do reporters navigate misinformation? How is trust built and lost? What is the role of photojournalism in an evolving media landscape? Featuring Lily Smith (Flatwater Free Press), Fred Knapp (Nebraska Public Media), Lei Guo (University of Nebraska-Omaha School of Communication), and moderator Jeff Koterba (KVNO, formerly of Omaha World-Herald), this conversation will explore where the line between objectivity and advocacy sits today.
