James Island Outreach is a local nonprofit that brings our community together to help neighbors facing tough times. Thanks to the generosity of local churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals, we're able to provide food, financial assistance, and resources to families who need them most.

Our mission is simple: Helping Neighbors. Uniting Community. Every donation, volunteer hour, and act of kindness helps strengthen our community and reminds families that they don't have to face challenges alone.

The need for JIO's services has doubled over the past three years, and today we support more than 800 local families each year. In addition to providing emergency assistance, JIO offers free 90-minute Financial Resources Workshops that give participants practical tools to build a household budget, learn about local resources, and create a plan for greater financial stability.
