Exciting news! ChristAid is entering the final phase of our tilapia farm construction project in Uganda.

When the farm begins operating later this summer, it will provide nutritious protein for Ahadi Kids and Grandmas for Jesus while also generating sustainable income to support ChristAid’s ministry in Uganda for years to come.

The original vision is becoming reality:

The site is perfect
The main pond is complete
The reservoir and dam are finished
The property is fenced and prepared
The breeding ponds are nearly ready

Now we need our ChristAid family’s support to complete the final phase of the project and get the farm up and running.

What Still Needs to Be Done?

Build a small structure for storage and workspace
Purchase equipment, tools, and fishing nets
Construct a harvest basin and weighing slab
Plant vegetables around the property
Purchase the first generation of fish and fish feed
Hire and support our tilapia farmer to oversee daily operations - she’s a former ChristAid student and trained fish farming expert!

The Final Goal: $48,000

Big news! A generous donor has pledged a matching gift of $15,000!

And more news! Another inspired donor has added $2500 to the match!

We're thrilled to announce $17,500 in matching gifts to launch this fundraiser. Every dollar given now will help unlock the full $17,500 in pledged matches and move us closer to our $48,000 goal.

When we reach our goal and complete construction, this project will begin transforming lives in the Kicuna community through nutrition, job training, economic development, and sustainable ministry support.
