The Campaign May Be Over—But the Giving Doesn’t Have to Stop

We’ve officially wrapped up our “$2,500 for the (18 to) 25-Year-Old” campaign—but the work continues, and so can your support.

Thanks to our incredible community, we’ve raised $1,750 so far. While we didn’t hit our original goal to unlock a matching grant, every dollar raised is already fueling healing spaces for young Black adults in D.C.

Our budget for Season 2 of The Love Catalyst Zone Podcast—Brother, Let Us Heal—is approximately $4,400. That includes audio production, guest honorariums, marketing, and the creation of our healing journal filled with mental wellness tools and reflection exercises.

But here’s the beautiful part: any money raised beyond that will go directly toward supporting free community mental health workshops—covering materials, facilitation costs, and outreach to ensure more young adults can access care and community.

Why This Still Matters

Mental health is not just a personal journey—it’s a community priority. For Black young adults in Washington, D.C., that journey can be layered with trauma, stigma, and systemic neglect. The Love Catalyst exists to shift that narrative.
