Join the Chicago Tool Library community at the National Museum of Mexican Art for a fun-filled event celebrating our incredible members, donors, staff, and volunteers. There will be tacos, drinks, art, crafts, and wonderful people! Everyone is welcome so don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow DIYers and have a great time. See you there!
FOOD
Catering provided by Chile Toreado. Vegetarian option available!
DRINKS
Beer, wine, aguas frescas, and a variety of NA drinks will be available.
ACTIVITIES
Paper flower making, button-making, seed planting, and more. From 6:00-7:00 the National Museum of Mexican Art's galleries will be open for viewing so come early!
TRANSPORTATION
– Pink Line train to the Damen stop or 18th Street stop
– Number 50 Damen bus to 19th Street
– Number 9 Ashland bus to 18th Street
– Visitor parking is available in the Ray Castro Parking Lot and Plaza, located on the east side of the Museum. The lot is open daily from 8:00 am – 11:00 pm at a rate of $3 per hour.
ACCESSIBILITY
Seating will be available and the Museum, including the galleries, is ADA accessible.
COVID
Masks are not required, but will be available for use. Air purifiers from CTL will be used in the event spaces, but will not be present in the art gallery spaces.
