We are excited for you to join us for this unforgettable experience to get up close and personal with our group of giant Galapagos tortoises during this event! You will also get to explore our top-notch facility and uncover the diverse array of endangered species we are dedicated to protecting, offering you a unique and meaningful experience.

Where: Carapace Conservation is located at 26531 Mountain Park Road, Canyon Country, CA 91387

When: May 16th, 2026, 11am to 2pm

What to Wear: Dress cool and comfy with the consideration that clothing may get a little dirty as we will be outdoors and spending time with the animals. For safety, it is crucial to wear closed-toed shoes that provide good traction on uneven and variable ground.

Parking: Street parking will be available and may require a short uphill walk to reach the event location.

Check In: Check in will open at 11:00 am and close at 1:00 pm to allow you enough time to enjoy the full experience.

Lunch: We will have a variety of delicious tacos, including a vegan option, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm; and will provide plenty of refreshing drinks to keep you cool and hydrated throughout the day.

Carapace Conservation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the conservation of endangered turtles and tortoises, aiming to prevent their extinction.
