As 2020 comes to a close, The Project is reflecting on how COVID-19 has impacted our clients and their mental health. One thing is very clear: owning a pet has helped our clients combat depression, anxiety, and feelings of loneliness.

Our Pet Wellness Program exists to cover many of the costs associated with pet ownership, that way our clients can benefit both mentally and physically. Here are some of the costs our program regularly covers:

Adoption fees - up to $500
Veterinary care - $45-$400 per visit
Vaccination - $60-$150
Spaying/Neutering - Up to $200
Dental care - Up to $500
Food and other supplies - $20/month
