After seeing my daughter’s struggles as a single mom, I realized that it was time to build a different type of nonprofit that supports children's basic needs. Something without the hazard of qualifications, requirements, waiting, or paperwork! The goal was to create a better system that can assist families, regardless of income, religion, ethnicity, cultural, racial, or socio-economic background. So if you are a Mamá with a job, but the income is not enough to cover your children’s basic needs, we can help! If you are a family that just arrived from another country without anything, we can help!

We want to be the solution when agencies and other organizations close their doors to you! You were brave enough to carry your baby and chose life. The Little Flower Group wants to be the alternative, to help with your children's basic needs, personal & spiritual growth, and a safe place to network with exceptional mamás like you!

We all are "little flowers" in God's garden!

The Little Flower Group is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering children's basic needs without cost to parents and families in the State of Georgia. We are in the process to obtain our 501C3 status from the IRS.

Our mission is to transform our culture of giving and receiving to safeguard every child's basic needs through charity, life-changing experiences, and education.

How?

We collect gently used donations (clothing, cribs, car seats, baby formula, toys, diapers, etc) from families that want to leave a footprint of love. We use word of mouth, Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor, friends, and families to find all donations. Then, we clean, classify, organize, and distribute 100% to the community. Also, by doing it this way, we help to reduce our carbon footprint & sustain the environment.

Where?

Right now we have two distribution sites:

#1. Prince of Peace Church in Flowery Branch- we serve every month (the second Saturday of each month)

#2. View Pointe Health in Norcross- we serve every three months.

Our goal for 2022 is to add two new locations:

#1. Cumming

#2. Jefferson

Our Need

We are in desperate need of a large truck or enclosed trailer so we can continue serving more families.

In the Facebook Marketplace, we found one used trailer 7x12 for $4,200 that can be perfect for our mission. This truck will help us to move from our home (Hoschton) all donations to the different sites (Flowery Branch & Norcross) including the new ones (Cumming & Jefferson) that are far from our house. Also, it will help to pick up all donations in one trip! Sometimes we have to drive back and forward to pickup donations because our SUV is not large enough.

Our Goal: $4200 enclosed trailer + $250 tags, Givebutter processing fees, and logo
