Here's the honest part first

TQNC has funding to keep going through January 2027. After that, we need your help.

That is why this Giving Tuesday (December 1) matters so much to us. Our goal is $10,000, and every dollar goes right back into our community.

What is TQNC?

The Queer Neighborhood Council is a trans-led, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Greater Boston's LGBTQIA+ and ally community. We host free and low-cost events, advocate for our community, teach civic engagement, and support the people who make this neighborhood what it is. Think skill-share workshop, queer artists market, and civic power, with a side of dancing and a heap of queer joy.

What your gift does

$55 buys supplies for 2 community events.
$250 helps organize and run a Sew Gay Club skill-share workshop.
$1,000 covers over half the cost of a queer artists market with 30-40 local artists.
Monthly donors help power almost 100 free queer community events a year. Giving monthly is the most reliable way to help us plan ahead, even $5.

Any amount helps. Truly. Even $20.

Want to do more? Become a Fundraising Friend

Our Fundraising Friends set up their own pages, choose their own goals, and invite their people to give. You might aim for $300 (about 6 friends giving $50), but there is no pressure and no cap. You can also set up a page together with friends. Gifts through your page count toward your goal and TQNC's goal.

Know a match or a sponsor?

We are hoping to find a matching donor: someone who agrees to match gifts dollar for dollar on Giving Tuesday, up to an amount they choose. We are also seeking annual sponsors, such as organizations and small businesses. If that sounds like you or someone you know, please email hello@tqnc.org.

Thank you for keeping the lights on and the disco ball spinning

Queer joy, advocacy, and community are not extras. They are how we take care of each other. Thank you for helping make sure TQNC is still here in 2027 and beyond.

Queerly yours,

TQNC
