Research Meets Practice

A key accomplishment this year was the launch of the AHRD Insights publication which translates cutting-edge HRD scholarship into accessible, evidence-informed content for practitioners and scholars alike, featuring empirical studies, literature reviews, practice-focused case insights, and author spotlights.

Mentorship: Investing in the Next Generation of HRD Scholars and Students

We are excited to continue the AHRD Mentoring Partners Program we launched in 2016 to address the career/professional development needs of HRD faculty/post-doc/doctoral students across different career levels (i.e., junior, mid-career, senior). 75 + pairs (around 160 AHRD members) have participated in the Program. This program is a great chance to expand your HRD professional network, learn new skills, and help meet your professional goals.

New Website, Expanded Community & Learning Management System – Launching August 1st!

We are excited to announce that we will be launching a redesigned AHRD website including expanded community spaces purpose-built to make AHRD membership feel alive every day of the year, not just during conference week. In addition, we will have our first Learning Management System to enhance our member value. New online courses launching in fall to enhance member value and foster community and collaboration.
