We’re so excited to announce the official launch of the Texas Rescue Network 🎉

Our goal is to assist, educate, and empower the communities of Texas in finding solutions to manage and reduce the dog overpopulation problem that we are currently facing. In 2019 San Antonio Animal Care Services estimated that there was nearly 35,000 strays roaming at any time and we can assume that number has only increased. Our diverse, women-led organization is managed by creative problem solvers, doers, and educators that are looking to engage with the rescue community, implement systems, and provide resources.

Because most 501c3 rescue organizations are so caught up in the day to day tasks and sometimes emergencies that come with rescue, we decided to take a different approach and seek to take a preventative route when possible. For this reason, we will not be accepting dogs into our personal care, rather we will be focusing solely on our education, media, transportation, training, and stray assistance programs to lower the population of roaming pets and increase the live release rate of pets and their quality of life in Texas.
