What a rollercoaster ride opening a new business is! Let's start with a little background first...

WHO ARE THEY? Trove Brewing opened their doors just over a year ago last October! They're a small, family run, passionate husband and wife team that had a dream to open a brewery and through perseverance and sheer determination, they turned their dream into a reality.

WHY A BREWERY? Of course the owners, Jeffery and Angie met at a brewery, where they both worked (shhhh), but it didn't stop there! Jeffery worked his way up to the corporate level and has continued working in the industry throughout his career. With his extensive background in the beer industry, including over 13 years of brewing, and Angie's seasoned expertise in marketing and design, they forged ahead despite starting with a modest budget and relying heavily on the unwavering support of their cherished family and friends. They would not be where they are today without them, along with the new friends from the community who have helped along the way!

Jeffery and Angie raised all the funds to open Trove entirely on their own, with support from a few small investors—there's no multimillion-dollar corporation backing them - they're a true mom and pop shop!

Trove has become more than just a business; it's a labor of love Jeffery and Angie pour their hearts into every day. They cherish the community, loyal customers, and exceptional staff who has made it all possible.

THEIR GOAL. With the rise in cost of raw ingredients, energy, and an unexpected rent hike during their first year in business, they're finding themselves in a tough spot and unable to move forward with certain sales building initiatives. This is where they need YOU, their community to help Trove meet these challenges.

The money raised in the beginning will go towards sustaining operations, covering essential expenses, such as ingredients (for new/more beer styles), energy costs, taproom/brewery supplies, increasing distribution across the Twin Cities, and sales boosting initiatives. Their hope is to raise money beyond that, so they can add more food, NA options, and music/events. The more you give, the more Trove can put back into the brewery and give you the things you want!

By maintaining operations, Trove aims to deepen their involvement in the community; they have already held a few fundraisers for local non-profits. Your support will help ensure that Trove thrives for years to come, allowing them to better serve their wonderful community!
