ABOUT THE SYLVIA CENTER

Founded in 2007, The Sylvia Center is a nonprofit organization that delivers skill-based cooking and nutrition instruction to young people and families. Through school-based programs and community partnerships across New York City and upstate New York, The Sylvia Center equips more than 6,000 students each year with the skills and confidence to cook healthy meals, at a time when many families face uncertain access to affordable, nutritious food.
