INDIGO Dance Company was built from the ground up by their founder Dani Burd alongside a group of sensational artists, and collaborators who believe in making work that reflects real life - messy, honest, searching, alive. Alchemizing life's experiences through states of reflection, contemplation, passion, and joy.

This season, we’re raising $5,000 to continue creating and to protect space for artistic expression at a time when art is not a luxury - it’s a necessity. As a grassroots organization, we are humbly asking for crowdfunding support for Season 3.

Your support helps us:

Launch Season 3 and preparing for the future (filing as a non-profit, creating our non-profit service element of bringing workshops and classes into inpatient recovery communities).
Support production costs for our Season 3 live performance Don't You Remember March 20+21 at Highways Performance Space which features 8 sensational, deserving artists. Your contributions also help us to allow people to attend this show who cannot afford.
Create 3 short films that allow our work to reach beyond traditional stages and gives performance opportunities to emerging directors, producers, dancers and actors.
Pay dancers, actors and crew for their labor, creativity, and time
Produce the 3rd Annual INDIGO Film Festival, a community-centered event that has already given 25 developing artists opportunities to share work in dance and film with zero submission costs
Afford studio space for our all-levels community dance class series, Unearthing Indigo, that runs on a sliding scale payment model.

INDIGO exists because artists need places to experiment, be seen, and tell their stories - especially now. When funding disappears, expression disappears with it. Your donation helps ensure that emerging voices still have somewhere to land, move, and be heard.

Tiers of Contribution

Tier 1: $0–$299
Receive a thank-you note and recognition in our Season 3 show programs and film credits (name and/or company name as listed with your donation).

Tier 2: $500+
Includes all Tier 1 benefits, plus a Producer credit and dedicated space in the program to feature your business (optional).

Tier 3: $1,000+
Includes all Tier 1–2 benefits, plus an Executive Producer credit, dedicated program space to feature your business (optional), and a somatic movement workshop (in person or via Zoom). The workshop can be enjoyed by you, your friends, or your team, and offers practical tools for embodied movement, nervous system regulation, creative expression, and team building.
