RICKSHAW RUN HIMALAYAS

Join Chris and Jake this July as they tackle the Rickshaw Run in the Himalayas of India! Their journey will take them from the desert of Jaisalmer, India to the steep passes of the Himalayas into Leh in the disputed region of Kashmir. It's a 2,000km journey using what the organizers describe as a glorified lawnmower tackling the largest mountain range on earth.

GPS? Probably not. Breakdowns? Almost guaranteed. We'll be on our own, with nothing but our wits, charm, and travel antibiotics (just in case!)

This isn’t just another adrenaline-fueled expedition, we're driving for a cause!

The event organizers ask us to raise $500 for Cool Earth, a charity that protects the largest rain-forests in the world by supporting the Indigenous people who live there. Any amount over that goes to a charity of our choice. We are once again partnering with Mission 22, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting US veterans and their families, aiming to end veteran suicide.

ABOUT MISSION 22

Mission 22 supports the veteran community with three main programs: veteran wellness programs, memorials, and community social impact. The wellness programs are provided to veterans and their families for post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and other issues they might be facing. Mission 22 builds memorials to create social impact and awareness for these issues and also has an ambassador volunteer program for people to get involved. Ambassadors educate the public on veteran issues, help get veterans into programs and create resources in their communities. This organization enables a push for the betterment of our community and more support for veterans.
