Join the Springfield Area Arts Council and local artists for a staged reading of The Turnaway Play by Lesley Lisa Greene. Inspired by the Turnaway Study, this approximately 70-minute play brings the experiences of women who sought abortions to the stage through drama, humor, and some audience participation.

Choose the date you’d like to attend. A panel discussion will follow the Saturday, October 10 reading.

The play addresses abortion, unwanted pregnancy, and the consequences of being denied care. Learn more about the play and meet the Springfield cast on the Arts Council event page.
