Join us on September 20th for our inaugural Walk and Roll! As we celebrate over 50 years of providing services to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, complete one lap or ten, in support of our work and promoting inclusivity.

The event includes a post-walk pizza party, and prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers. All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. Those raising $250 and above will also receive an event sweatshirt.

** Founded in 1971 in Newburyport, MA, Turning Point, Inc. has its roots in providing services for disadvantaged youth, individuals with substance abuse, families in crisis, and developmentally disabled individuals.

Over the past five decades, we have continued to grow and offer expanding resources and programs. Today, we serve over 150 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities aged 22 and older in 13 cities and towns throughout the North Shore and Merrimack Valley.

We believe in empowering our individuals to be the best people they can be. We provide the finest staffing and managerial oversight to ensure the safety of our individuals and offer our staff the proper development tools and training to help them succeed. As we look to the future, we strive to accommodate the ever-changing needs of our populations which includes our aging individuals, those who require intensive behavior support, and those on the autism spectrum.

While we receive funding from the state, there is a continual gap in what's needed to care for our individuals, particularly as medical, food, and housing costs continue to rise. With your support, we can ensure that their basic needs are met, while also providing opportunities and activities that would otherwise be inaccessible.
