Recovery needs an address.

Every year, men and women come home to Las Vegas after incarceration fighting two battles at once: starting over, and staying in recovery. Without a stable, recovery-supportive home, both battles get harder — and too many people lose them in the first ninety days.

R.I.S.E. Above — Re-Entry Into Society Elevated — is opening two recovery houses in Las Vegas: Kings Court, a recovery house for men, and Queens Landing, a recovery house for women. Each will be a real home — small, structured, and peer-supported — where residents live with accountability: a live-in house manager, curfews, drug testing, recovery meetings, and a household of people who expect each other to keep moving forward.

Our residents will be returning citizens in recovery — men and women who have done the work of treatment and are committed to protecting their sobriety while they rebuild: reconnecting with family, returning to work, and becoming the people they set out to be when they came home.

Your donation goes to the launch — the real costs of opening two homes:

Lease deposits and the first months of rent on both homes
Furnishing two complete households — beds with new mattresses, bedding, kitchen and dining, living spaces, and the everyday supplies a home runs on
Recovery-house certification and compliance under Nevada's recovery housing standards
Drug-testing supplies and recovery program startup
Insurance and essential safety equipment
An initial operating reserve, so both homes open stable instead of scrambling

How the $50,000 will be used — our launch budget:

Lease deposits and first month's rent on both homes — about $8,700
Furnishing two complete households — about $15,000
Initial supplies, setup, and drug-testing stock — about $3,000
Legal, insurance, and recovery-house certification — about $5,200
The balance builds the operating reserve both homes need to open stable. Our full two-home launch plan totals about $66,718 including three months of operating reserves — this campaign is the first $50,000 of it.
