Five years ago, The Womxn Project was founded on the principle of creating a more equitable and just Rhode Island. Three years ago, we worked hard to ensure the right to abortion was codified in Rhode Island law via the Reproductive Privacy Act. Now, we're fighting to ensure that everyone can access the right to an abortion through the Equality in Abortion Coverage Act.

Fighting for abortion access is hard work– we could all use a break. Featuring fabulous feminist stand-up comedy with folx from across New England, you won’t want to miss laugh-out-loud performances from Alessandra Grima, Janaya Gonsalves, Kristen Logan, Liz Moniz, and Lindita Taka.

We have great hope for the future and that's why we chose the pink sapphire as a symbol for our event. Not only is a sapphire a traditional fifth-anniversary gift, but the pink sapphire also symbolizes strength, hope, the ability to power through hardships, and intense love and compassion. And that's exactly what we need to win the fight ahead.

What's this raffle all about?
Each admission ticket includes one raffle ticket to put toward a raffle prize of your choosing that will be pulled at the end of the night. Want to up your odds? Raffle tickets will be for sale at the door and online.
