Izizwe Dance Studio provides a supportive and empowering environment for children and young adults to create, explore, and pursue their passion for dance. As a non-competitive studio, Izizwe focuses on developing and nurturing strong dancers while preparing them for success as artists, leaders, and individuals.

Our main goal is to make high quality dance education accessible to young people of all backgrounds and to ensure equal opportunities in higher education for those pursuing the performing arts beyond high school. To date, Izizwe has distributed over $25,000 in scholarship funding to support these efforts.

We are proud to announce we are expanding! Over the last 2 years we have seen significant growth in our studios programming, community engagement, and outreach.

As a result of this expansion we have established Irise Dance Project; a 501c3 organization based at Izizwe Dance Studio. Through Irise we will be able to add additional programming and dance classes, hire additional faculty to include professional teachers and artists, distribute more scholarships, and support students in their professional dance pursuits. Irise Dance Project also links a youth dance company made up of 10 dedicated students to the studio.

As a nonprofit, Irise Dance Project depends on donations to sustain our current programming while meeting the demands and needs in our community. We appreciate the support and enthusiasm for this new project.
