After the strike, none of their demands have been met yet, so we're expecting retaliation and ready to go on an Unfair labor practices strike when the retaliation starts. Updates: We recently learned about an extra $18Million building fund Centre college is sitting on, as well as an Additional $2Million discretionary fund. Yet the board of Trustees refuses to talk to the workers, and it's about to be fall already. We had our first meeting with a local Trade union, Friday, August 16th. They're pledging full support for the 80-person Staff Campaign and a separate bargaining unit for the 200 student-workers who make minimum wage...
