It's our 13th Giving Tuesday and we have a lot to be thankful for... in a decade of droughts, hurricanes, coups and Covid, we are still able to make people smile.

We are following almost 200 vulnerable patients with special needs. Twice each year we make dozens of home visits to these patients and hold "pop up clinics" with our local nurses, coordinators and community advocates. Working with our in-country partners, CHPH makes dozens of surgical referrals each year, including coordination of logistical support and follow-up, physical therapy, and purchasing orthopedic equipment as needed. Our solar light project spans the country, putting lights in the hands of thousands of families lacking electricity. The dental programs we started twelve years ago continue to provide children from six mountainous regions with prevention, education and treatment programs. Through our partnership with Vitamin Angels, hundreds of women each year receive these critical resources making a substantial impact on healthy pregnancies.

This staying power – our endurance in Honduras – comes from your generous time and donations. Your support helps CHP-H to continue our work with communities, advocates, partners, and local organizations to make a profound difference. Caring for one child, one parent to restore their health impacts a family. That family impacts a community. Our informal rule is to "never say no" to a request for help, but to always try. And because of our support from so many willing volunteers in Honduras, and with funding through donations like yours, all things are not only possible- they are probable.
