I'm Tray Battles, and I'm excited to introduce myself as the Founder and CEO of CALI HBCU LEGACY CONNECTION. As a proud native of Sacramento and an alumna of Thee Illustrious Virginia State University, I've embarked on a transformative journey from California to an HBCU, and it's a journey I'm passionate about sharing.
My personal experience at an HBCU has been nothing short of life-changing, and I'm eager to share my story with you. I believe in the power of education to shape futures and unlock endless opportunities. My goal is to illuminate the path to higher education for high school students across California, particularly those who may not be familiar with the incredible opportunities offered by Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Through my personal testimony, I aspire to inspire and empower young minds. I want to show them that HBCUs are not just institutions of learning but vibrant communities where dreams are nurtured and success is cultivated. Together, let's bridge the gap between California and HBCUs, fostering a brighter future for the next generation.
