"Farming for a Better Future"

Give the gift of sustainability by helping us acquire the tools to grow tomorrow's food today! We have 3 acres of fenced fertile land ready to be utilized to harvest a brighter future. Our project involves farming our land and raising chickens to provide holistic and multifaceted long-term sustainability for the 48 children and seven vulnerable families we partner with to break the Bulamungi village's poverty cycle.

The "Farming for a Better Future" campaign aims to alleviate hunger and prevent starvation, a pressing issue in our community. Our goal is to use our resources to enhance nutritional intake and self-sustainable skill development, provide access to affordable poultry products, generate some extra income, and create economic opportunities to make a tangible difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.

Sustainability and Income Generation: We're not just providing a temporary fix but investing in sustainable solutions to create lasting change. We utilize each donation to stretch every penny to the best of our ability. By farming chickens and growing our crops, we can supplement our operational costs while assisting in covering and addressing our children's critical needs.
Community Impact: Our campaign facilitates community strengthening by directly impacting the well-being of individuals and the overall health of our community. By partnering with our local community, we are gaining generations of wisdom about sustainable agriculture that can be taught to the current generation while establishing community networks to offer emotional and practical assistance, creating a sense of unity among families facing similar challenges.
Nutritional Benefits: Most of our community cannot have a heavy protein-based diet daily for financial reasons. We've seen that a heavy-based bean and starch diet can cause stomach sensitivities and ulcers, which can result in hospitalization, causing further financial distress.

Campaign Details:

• We propose to start with 120 chicks and 14 fruit tree saplings, fruit and vegetable seeds, and tools to cultivate our land. This number is manageable and will allow us to gain experience in poultry farming while ensuring a reasonable return on our initial investment.
