Show your love for Afghan refugees today by giving to the Road to Independence project!

The project helps newly arrived Afghan families achieve independence and self-sufficiency through safe and legal access to driver’s education, driver’s licenses, and vehicles.

$25 will pay for 2 hours of classroom or on-the-road instruction for 1 refugee at a Virginia DMV-certified driving school.

$100 will pay for 4 hours of classroom or on-the-road instruction for 1 refugee.

$400 IS A COMPLETE SCHOLARSHIP FOR A REFUGEE! It will pay for driving school for 1 refugee, including 3 full days of classroom instruction and 7 hours of on-the-road learning. After that, through the adult waiver program, they automatically get their license.

$750 will pay for 6 months of vehicle insurance relief for an Afghan family.

$3,333 will pay for a vehicle purchase grant for an Afghan family.
