The Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts believes that leadership grounded in purpose has the power to lift individuals, families, and entire communities.

Every day, we work alongside adults and young people across Eastern Massachusetts who are navigating systemic barriers to employment, economic stability, and opportunity. Through workforce development, economic empowerment, and youth-centered career exposure and mentorship, we help people access the tools, pathways, and confidence needed to build brighter futures.

The Urban League Annual Gala, themed Leading with Purpose, Lifting with Power, is more than an evening of celebration. It is a commitment to progress. It is a moment to honor leaders who embody service and impact, to celebrate the resilience of the communities we serve, and to invest in solutions that create lasting change across generations.
