Umeed: A Journey of Hope and Harmony

"Umeed" means hope, and for families affected by CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder (CDD), hope is a lifeline. CDD is a rare genetic condition that causes early-onset seizures and severe developmental delays, often limiting a child’s ability to walk or speak. While the challenges are great, scientific breakthroughs in Gene Therapy are now offering a real chance to change these children’s lives forever.

To support this mission, Trivalley Melodies is hosting a special Bollywood musical fundraiser on May 23, 2026, (6pm-10pm) in San Jose. Some of the Bay Area’s most talented singers are coming together at Tandoori Pizza to perform an evening of soulful music and community spirit. From high-energy Bollywood hits to a community open mic, every note sung is a step toward a cure.
