That's the goal Elevate for Change is building toward — repurposing 3 million pieces of plastic into permanent works of public art with Venezuelan eco-muralist Oscar Olivares. The Auraria Campus will host the first two murals. Schools across the community will host more.

On Saturday, May 23, Oscar is coming to Colorado — and you're invited to create alongside him.

🎤 An intimate artist talk — Oscar shares the journey from Caracas to the global stage, and the technique that turns plastic waste into cultural landmarks.

🎨 Create your own bottle cap mural with Oscar — Sit down with your kit and build a one-of-a-kind piece, guided step-by-step by Oscar himself. You'll leave with original art you made with the master.

Elevate for Change runs on a Circular Economy of Art: your ticket helps us intercept plastic caps from landfills and waterways before they become permanent pollution. And 20¢ of every dollar raised goes directly to two community programs we love:

Programa Teresa — Up to 4 therapy sessions for community members who need mental health support but can't afford care.
After-School Programs — Bilingual programming for K–12 students in financial literacy, social-emotional learning, STEM, sports, music, and global culture. Where families feel supported and students flourish after the bell.

Every ticket funds real care and real opportunity for someone in our community.
