We are welcoming all to adventure into the past as we tour underground Rome to learn about its unique architectural history. Participants will tour below the following buildings: Broad&Fifth (The Forrest Place building), Rome Area History Center, Blue Sky Outfitters, and John Henry's Grill. Tours will take place on November 5th beginning at 9:00am until 4:20pm in 20 minute increments. All proceeds support and fund the vital work of the Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia.
 

About the SACNWGA: 

Founded in 1992, the Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia is a non-profit organization serving survivors of all ages who have been affected by sexual assault, exploitation, and abuse. SACNWGA services are free, confidential, and most importantly 24/7. Our compassionate team provides advocacy, forensic medical services, counseling, education, and support to survivors and their families.

Like many nonprofits, the Sexual Assault Center of NWGA has experienced funding challenges since the start of the pandemic. These challenges come at a time when victim services are already stressed from increased demand. Locally, the SACNWGA has experienced a 36% increase in services provided to survivors. Now more than ever, we need our community's support to continue providing 24/7 advocacy and forensic medical services 365 days each year.
