Story
Located in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, Union is a lively, yet intimate neighborhood Italian restaurant and wine bar offering a deeply personal, seasonally Californian interpretation of Northern Italian cuisine. Owner Marie Petulla and Executive Chef Chris Keyser have crafted a rustic yet elegant menu that brings the farmer and guest together, to celebrate the beauty of simplicity, the best local ingredients, and the delight of a meal with friends. Their thoughtful wine list features a curated selection of Italian and Californian bottles that perfectly pair with Union's heartfelt cooking. Everything at Union - from starters and field selections to handmade pastas and sustainably raised and prepared meats and fish - all pay homage to community farmers and purveyors, and are meant to be enjoyed with cherished friends and family.
Cocktail hour starts at 6:00pm, with passed appetizers
Seated Dinner starts at 7:00pm
The menu will include a five-course meal prepared with ingredients provided by Union, and ingredients provided by HoFoCo’s Community Exchange food rescue and distribution program.

ABOUT HOLLYWOOD FOOD COALITION
Hollywood Food Coalition has provided hunger relief to unhoused and low-income neighbors through hot, high-quality meals served every single night of the year, without fail, since 1987. In accordance with our values of Responsiveness, Consistency, Choice and Community, we have grown into a thriving meal service and food rescue operation providing meals and other basic necessities to food-insecure Angelenos.
We help more unhoused community members on a daily basis than any other social service agency in the neighborhood.
When we share food we not only help with basic needs, but we also remind our guests of their fundamental humanity. We remind them that they are not forgotten, that somebody cares, and that they are still worthwhile members of the human family. At our core, we actively seek to construct a more cohesive, just, and compassionate community. We serve any hungry person who walks through our door, with no exclusionary intake or prohibitive requirements that would turn them away.
